I am pleased to inform you that the Sacred Heart College Cadet Unit has been reformed (cadet unit 431). It was disbanded in 1975. Old scholar, Bill Denny, will be attending the EOY Parade to be held at Marymount College. On behalf of the Old Scholars Bill will be presenting a perpetual trophy, named in honour of the Old Scholars Association, to reinforce the link between this newly formed cadet unit (431 Sacred Heart College Cadet Unit) and the Sacred Heart College Cadet Unit of past years.
Any SHC Old Scholars with attachment to the former college unit are very welcome to attend. The Old Scholars would be pleased to know that this unit will be adopting the identical hat badge design as worn by the former SHC unit of the past. Please spread the word to anyone you think might be interested in coming to this event.
