Welcome to SHOC

The Sacred Heart Old Collegians Association (SHOC’s) is an incorporated organisation representing the former students of Sacred Heart College and has been in existence since 1907.  The Association comprises over 14,500 Members.

SHOC’s is run by a committee of dedicated volunteers who give up their time to create opportunities for old scholars to keep in touch with each other.

SHOC’s also provides support to related sporting groups.  Currently SHOC’s run a football, netball, soccer (both male and female) and a cricket club.  There are also a group of old boys who play tennis every Saturday during summer (some of whom are in their 90’s).

Sacred Heart Old Collegians Association Announcement

NEW PRESIDENT and TREASURER

Sacred Heart Old Collegians Association would like to sincerely thank outgoing President, Michaela Kenneally, for all her hard work over the last two years. Michaela’s contribution to SHOCs has been outstanding and we appreciate all of her efforts.

Introducing SHOCs new President – Michelle Rice-Murphy. Michelle graduated from Sacred Heart in 1986.

Michelle is a wife, mother of four, and recently now eight children, spanning from 22 years of age to 12. She studied Wine Marketing at Roseworthy Agricultural College and more recently completed her Masters in Marketing at UNISA. Running a small business in the South East for over 13 years, she then moved back to Adelaide ten years ago to raise funds commercially for the NFP sector.

More recently she started a Social Enterprise Business, 4P3 ~ 4 People 4 Purpose 4 Passion, with the first project due to launch in July this year. She is hoping this new venture will significantly add to the already raised funds of over $66 Million net in previous roles. Michelle is excited to accept the role of SHOCs President and will continue the fantastic work from her predecessor Michalea Kenneally.

We also welcome old scholar Patrick (“Paddy”) McKay who has come on board as Treasurer, taking over from Jane Crisp (nee Mason). Patrick graduated from Sacred Heart in 2004 and currently works as the Payroll & Accounting Officer at Sarah Construction so he is the perfect person for the job!

The SHOCs Association meets approximately three times a year to and are always looking for fresh faces to join the committee. If you would like to come on board or have a chat about what is involved, please email enquiries@shoc.com.au.
